Viewing the photos

There are no programs to install to view the poses on the Companion Disk. The photos are provided as standard JPG files in folders. Most operating systems provide a way to view these JPG files. In Windows, for example, you could use Explorer in Thumbnail or Filmstrip view. On a Mac, double-clicking a photo will display it.

If you prefer a more sophisticated viewer, there are many choices for download from the internet. Here are some that we like:
   * ACDSee and
   * IrfanView - free and very efficient.

On a Mac,
   * iPhoto is an option.

Many people already have a favorite viewer. Because of this, we chose to provide the photos in standard JPG format to make it easy to use your favorite software to view and print the photos.

Organization

Finding a particular pose is easy, the filenames are printed right in the book with the pose. For example, to view all the photos from the first pose (Mandy leaning) open the folder called mandy308--the name printed near the page number in the book.

Viewing the pose in rotation

One of the best ways to see the poses in a 360-degree rotation is to use the slideshow feature of a viewer like ACDsee. Setting it to loop will create a continuously rotating pose.
